About Us

Iwa Candle Co.’s story began in August 2024 in Haleʻiwa, Hawaiʻi. The sandy shores, blue skies, and tropical nature of Haleʻiwa became the inspiration for our candle scents that we wanted to bring into the world. 

The coastal shores of Hawaiʻi are also home to the beloved ʻIwa bird, which symbolizes guidance & pathway. We chose the ʻIwa bird to be the core of Iwa Candle Co. and our mission to create small-batch, hand poured candles with tropical scents that bring peace and serenity.

Our Products & Our Mission to the Earth

Iwa Candle Co. candles are all hand poured with 100% soy wax that is ethically sourced in the USA. The wicks are 100% cotton and candles are free of any paraffins, phthalates,  sulfates, parabens, lead, and dyes for a clean candle burn. We strive to use recycled or biodegradable labels and packaging in almost every aspect of production.
